Solar (Thermal & Photovoltaic)
Solar Thermal Systems harness solar energy for thermal energy or heat. In the United States, HVAC systems account for over 25% of energy used in commercial buildings and nearly 50% of residential solar heating, cooling, & ventilation technology may be implemented to offset a portion of this energy.
Photovoltaic Systems use photovoltaic panels to convert sunlight to electricity. These systems may be complex and consist of many pieces such as photovoltaic modules, mechanical and electrical connections and mounting, and processes of monitoring and changing the electrical output.
